Quilts

I remember the first time I went into a quilt shop and someone asked me a few questions, actually they were just trying to see what my needs were as a customer. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t know the lingo that they were talking in the store. They were talking about bindings, sashing, fat quarters…I had no idea and so I got out of there in a hurry.
I can say now that I proudly work at the Quilt Shop and I can walk the walk, and talk  the talk MOST of the time and it’s refreshing. We are never too old to learn!
Yes, quilting has become one of my passions and has been a very healing art for me, these past few years.
"One of the things that may get in the way of people being lifelong learners is that they’re not in touch with their passion. If you’re passionate about what it is you do, then you’re going to be looking for everything you can to get better at it."    ~ Jack Canfield
I love the attitude of quilters too, they are usually very compassionate and caring individuals. Quilting does take a lot of time and patience but the end result is soooo worth it!  If you make a mistake, a quilter will say " that just makes your quilt unique!" Yes, I am fitting right in with those quilters and for sure my quilts are unique, but definitely made with lots of love
So go ahead and take a look at some of the quilts I have made, and some I have even designed myself.
