Last September a friend of mine, and owner of one of my favorite Quilt Shops asked if I would like to start teaching Demo classes in her store. http://www.gatheringfabrics.com/
I said “yes” immediately, I was thrilled to say the least. Most of all, I was grateful to feel well enough to get out and actually plan something. For the last 2 ½ years as I mentioned, I have been battling cancer and the treatments, so to finally be healthy enough to teach… has been a blessing! I have taught art and craft classes for over 25 years…I absolutely love teaching! I also enjoy all the amazing women that I am meeting, and I love the challenge of coming up with new and creative demos for the classes each month.

I have also been busy doing samples for the Shop Hop this year. I really love the fabrics! My block was picked for this year, so I have a photo of it in here too. If you are free on the first Friday of the Month, and just happened to be in Western Washington come on over the Gathering Fabrics Quilt Shop at noon and I will be waiting to meet you!
