Bridal Shower

  Last night my daughter and I threw a Baby Shower for a dear friend. She is having her first boy (she has 3 little beautiful girls) so, we decided to decorate with the Vintage look and threw in some Pin Wheels, here are a few of the photos. Below is the new quilt I made for her ...from some darling material that I got from the Quilt Shop. I used a material called Soft and Cuddle or something like that for the back....feels great, looks ok...but it was a beggar to work with because it had such a stretch to it. Never again!
Don't you love the cute onesies with the little ties appliqued on it?  My daughter and her friend made them. Hope to see you Friday at my Demo class!

It's time to start thinking about Pumpkins!

How are you dear friends? I am sorry that I haven't been so good about keeping up this blog. I guess  you can tell by the photos that my photographer daughter is back from school? I know, I just don't seem to have the knack for figuring out photos, oh well. Here is what is coming up in our Sept class at the Quilt Shop. I will get the details to you soon.

Now these pumpkins we made last year but I did change them up some, and I love it that you can use them for Thanksgiving and Halloween. Seems like everyone has something for Halloween but not enough for Fall. So I will be teaching these cute pumpkins and this Pumpkin Table Topper.

Sewing away!

 

Seems like I have been sewing like crazy lately, trying to get some new samples into the shop and getting caught up with baby and birthday gifts. As you can see on the back of my door, I have quite a few quilt tops already to quilt, need to do that after the holidays I guess? I teach again this Weds from noon till 2:00pm. I will be teaching the fast and easy way to do pinwheels, it is really fun. Hope you can come this Weds!
