Susan asked me if I would like to put together this banner from the new line from Riley Blake called DELIGHTED, and of course I was delighted to do so. The designer’s name is Amanda Herring and all her
designs are called the Quilted Fish collection. I saw a You-tube about what inspired her to design this line,
and she had mentioned that her Grandmother had passed away. She mentioned that her Grandmother was an avid gardener. She said she had the most beautiful flower gardens you could image, flowers of every kind! So
this collections called DELIGHTED… was in her honor, she then made pennants printed out on as a panel. These pennants can be sewn together to make banners…like I did. She mentioned that she wanted something
to be a celebration of her Grandmother’s life! Wow! Why is it that I love stories so much? I guess that is
what I try to do when I create something, connect it to something that I love and it means even more to
me!
So head into the store and check it out! It is fast and easy! The only thing hard is deciding how many ways
you might want to embellish it and how many friends you want to make it for!
