Decorating with a canvas!

Ok ladies, sorry it has taken me so long to send something new. I have been working on a really fun Christmas Quilt which if I ever get it finished, I will call 'Visions of Sugarplums'.  It has taken me a while, but I think it is going to be worth it. I took the idea from my love for paper dolls. I played with  them when I was little and love the look of them on quilts or for a little girls room. Now that American Dolls are big, that too would be a fun reason to make one of these laundry line quilts for a little girls room.
Anyway, until that is done...I will show you what I did with the extra clothes I made. I decorated a canvas with them.

Now can't you see making a canvas or two, to go with your little one's quilt or just to decorate a  wall? It was really fun and they have all the canvases on sale now at Michaels.

So head to the shop and look at the canvases and let me know what you think?
I sewed the letters onto Peltex, which is a very thick interfacing that you can get.

Well, need to get ready for my class this coming Friday from noon till 2:00...we will be doing placemats, binding and napkins! It should be fun, plus we will be getting a head start on the holidays!!!!
Take care dear friends!
Lynn

P.S.  If you didn’t already guess it, these pajamas are for Santa Claus, that is why you have the S and the C!
