2nd October Demo Class tomorrow!

front door spiders

Ok, if you weren’t able to come to my last class on making napkins, placemats and fast and easy binding…then you are in luck, I am teaching it again tomorrow at the shop from noon till 2:00pm ( shop is in Woodinville called Gathering Fabrics ). So if you get a chance, drop in and come join us.

I have a few new things in the store that you have to check out…first of all is a new line from Riley Blake called Sew Cherry by the designer Lori Holt. It is so cute. I decided to do a Baby Doll bedding for it, because I truly could see this done for an American Girl Doll’s bed or the owner of  the American Doll …your own daughter or granddaughter, it was just too much fun to work with. I will get other photos coming soon. I even made part of it for decorations on the wall. Why not decorate the whole room with fabric this cute!

Plus, my new Christmas Quilt is in there finally. I called it my Night Before Christmas Quilt. The material I loved by Riley Blake but to be honest with you, I thought it would also look good in a little girl’s room with different dress up clothes on it. So come in and take a look at it when you can, this photo doesn’t really do it justice. Lisa Nolte did the quilting for it. I can’t really quilt something this size. She did an amazing job and is one of the new long arm quilters from the shop. You need to see her work, she is very good. I was so pleased and wondered how in the world I will ever be satisfied doing my own ever again ! :)   Anyway here is her information…    http://www.cupcakequilting.com/

  2. I love the 3-dimensional aspect...and the tiny little Christmas stockings. Who wouldn't feel special receiving this carefully handmade treasure? And you didn't even leave out the rick-rack :)
